Crock Pot Crawfish Chowder Recipe

Now I am sure I don’t have to tell you but there is nothing that can be a good bowl of chowder, Crock-Pot Crawfish Chowder is perfect. Now if only everything could be grilled, but sadly some things can’t like this chowder so I am thankful my old lady turned me onto the Crock-Pot.
I know what you are thinking Crawfish in chowder?? Trust me this recipe will be a hit when you take it anywhere! I made this the first time for a Superbowl party and it was the first dish gone, and then the same thing at a celebration of life as well. now you can make this with freshly caught crawfish, frozen tail meat, or store-bought crawfish. It doesn’t matter how you get the crawfish you only need the tail meat.
Crock Pot Crawfish Chowder Ingredients:
- 1 Stick Butter
- 2 Pounds Frozen Crawfish Tail Meat, I picked mine up at Tacoma Boys
- 2 Cans Cream of Potato Soup
- 1 Brick Cream Cheese Softened
- 1 Pint Half-and-Half cream
- 2 Cans Cream of Mushroom Soup
- 2 Cans Whole Kernel Corn, Drained
- Cayenne Pepper
- Old Bays Seasoning
- Chili Powder
*This can be halved if you want but trust me you want the leftovers. You can also change up the spices, and next time I am thinking about throwing in some bacon! **
Cook on low for about 4-6 hours and enjoy! This is amazing served in bread bowls or with saltine crackers, we personally prefer the oyster ones.

- 1 Stick Butter
- 2 Lbs Crawfish Tail Meat
- 2 Cans Cream Of Potato Soup
- 2 Cans Cream of Mushroom Soup
- 2 Cans Drained Whole Kernel Corn
- 1 Brick Cream Cheese Softened
- 1 Pint Half and Half
- Cayenne pepper
- Old Bays Seasoning
- Chili Powder
Instructions
- In a large skillet melt the butter with the minced garlic
- Once your butter has melted saute the crawfish in the skillet with the butter and garlic
- Allow the crawfish to saute for about 20 minutes
- We used an 8-quart crock pot to make this Crock Pot Crawfish Chowder in
- Spray your crock pot with a nonstick spray
- Start to drop in all your ingredients and turn on the crockpot on low
- Mix everything and then add in the crawfish and butter combination in
- Cook on low for about 4-6 hours and enjoy! This is amazing served in bread bowls or with saltine crackers, we personally prefer the oyster ones.

Delicious! didn’t have potato soup just added some potatoes and cream (sometimes we have to make do LOL) also halved recipe for just the 2 of us still made plenty.
