Asian Inspired Dressing

I am obsessed with asian food!! I grew up on the island of Kauai, Hawaii. The food from home is a mix of culture and ingredients from all over the world- Portuguese, Japanese, Chinese, Filipino, Mexican, with the Hawaiian staples of course. After graduating high school I moved to Israel and wow the food is good here! But of course I miss the Ono kine' grinds from home! Nothing beats the salty- sweet- umami flavor of asian cuisine, if I say so myself. Today I'm sharing an easy asian inspired dressing recipe that you can use in a variety of ways- as a marinade for chicken, as a sauce for already cooked chicken and rice, or like I did in the photo- as a dressing over a Vietnamese style vermicelli salad(vermicelli noodles, pepper, onion, chicken, and fresh mint and scallions).
