Three Layer Been Dip

There is a really easy bean dip that I love to make for parties! Usually proves to be a popular dish for picking (great for a Superbowl Party when you need something warm in your belly!)

I start with a packet of cream cheese and spread it in an oven safe dish.

It helps if you leave it out for a few minutes so its not so hard straight out of the fridge.

Then get a can of either refried beans or chili (you can get the vegetarian option to make this dish vegetarian). Add the beans/chili to on top of the spread cream cheese.

Then sprinkle on some shredded cheese.

Stick it in the over for 10 minutes at 350 degrees until the cheese is melted and starting to bubble.

When it comes out you want to let it sit for a few minutes otherwise it will be the temperature of fresh lava. I've also added salsa on top to make this three layer dip into a four layer dip!

Serve this appetizer with chips for party guests to enjoy!

Oh, my goodness, this is so cool that you posted this! I learned 2 variations of this recipe about a million years ago at a Tupperware party, of all things!!! I do in a pie plate, in the microwave, and I also do a version (instead of beans) with Hormel hot chili (no beans; personal preference). These two dips are STAPLES during football season!!!

But yes, beware the molten lava temperature, even from the microwave!!! (put a paper plate over the top to prevent any spatters!). SO easy, and the guys love them with tortilla chips (but, I've had the gals not hesitate at all about dipping baby carrots or celery sticks!). It sounds almost too easy, but it's just super-easy and super-tasty!! Love your pics!! :) ~Chrissie

Looks tasty! You title says "Been" instead of "Bean" Dip.
