On Mother's Day I made Mango Panna Cotta for my Mother which she never ate before. She just loved sweets but mostly homemade so I thought why not prepare something special. She makes all varieties of classic desserts but she never tried making panna cotta. So I thought to surprise her with Mango Panna Cotta. Mango is in season now and she just loves dessert made with it. And guessed what ??? she was really amazed and emotional. She loved the panna cotta and asked me to prepare it again next weekend. It really feels great, when you cook something special for your loved ones from the core of your heart, and they like it so much.....it gives utmost satisfaction.

It is a traditional Italian dessert that literally means cooked cream. It includes minimal ingredients basically a simple mixture of cream, milk, sugar, and any flavour of your choice. Gelatin is added inorder to set the Panna cotta mixture. It's one of the simplest desserts you can make with so many different flavours such as vanilla, strawberry, chocolate, lemon and many more. It can easily be store in the fridge for 3 to 4 days!

I have made Mango Panna Cotta, it's silky smooth and creamy with added richness of cream, full fat milk and sugar...... a perfect dessert for weekends and special occasions.

Adding Mango puree to the panna cotta makes it extremely delicious and adds freshness to panna cotta😋
