  • salted butter
  • cadbury mini eggs

Instructions

You will also need a large mixing bowl, a casserole dish and a plastic spatula.

Prepare an 8-inch pan or 9×9 inch square pan with parchment paper spritzed with nonstick cooking spray.

Place half of the chocolate eggs into the bottom of the casserole dish.

Place chocolate chips, condensed milk, and butter into a microwave-safe bowl.

Heat, uncovered, in the microwave for 1 minute. Stir vigorously, allowing the residual heat to help melt the chocolate. If needed, return the chocolate to the microwave and stir every 15 seconds until the chocolate has melted. Do not overheat the melted chocolate as it will seize up.

Pour fudge mixture over the candy eggs, pressing it down into an even layer between the eggs into the prepared tin.

Press remaining mini eggs into the top of the fudge.

Refrigerate your Easter Fudge overnight. For best results, bring your fudge to room temperature for a little bit before cutting or use a knife heated with warm water and wiped dry to slice. Cut homemade fudge into squares.

How Long Will It Take My Easter Fudge to Set Up?

This festive treat should take 3-4 hours for your fudge to set.

How to Store the Best Fudge Recipe

After your fudge has set in the fridge and before you have cut it, slide it into an airtight ziplock bag. It does stay fresher and uncut. Or, if you have already cut it, store the pieces in an airtight container.

If you would like to freeze your Easter Fudge, wrap it in parchment or plastic wrap and then put it into an airtight container or freezer bag. Freeze for up to two months and let your delicious fudge come to room temperature before enjoying it.
