You may want to try putting the chocolate in a heatproof bowl over hot water in a pot. Like a double boiler. Also, melt in a microwave. Melted chocolate doesn't look melted and is easy to overcook/scorch.

  • Brilliant! Was just surfing for fun and I work at a dog boarding facility. I picked up some really cute paw and bone molds that will be perfect for this application. Will make as gifts for staff as well as our clients. Scored some little plain boxes and purchased a boatload of them. And when shopping for baby shower paper I also found some dog themed wrapping paper that was perfect to mod podge the boxes. Purchased everything they had. Thank you SO MUCH for sharing your project! Now I had better hop to it to get the boxes ready by holiday season. Going to go back and see if they have more molds too. I made a proto type for the owners to approve and they loved the idea. 💕
