Chocolate And Coconut Bliss Balls

Chocolate and coconut bliss balls are the perfect any time of day energy snack. Plus they are tasty, easy and healthy too. Ready for a new favourite... lets us show you how easy this bliss balls are to whip up!
They are great for the kids but adults love them too. I love having these ready in the fridge for a healthy snack option, when a need that mid afternoon pick me up. So our best advice with this recipe is to make a big batch and enjoy!
You will need:
Packed full of not only healthy ingredients but cupboard staples, making this a great go to recipe.
- Raisins - These can substituted with chopped dates.
- Cocoa powder - or a chocolate powder substitute.
- Desiccated coconut - or finely shredded coconut, remember its going to be blended further.
- Peanut butter - or your preferred nut butter
- Coconut oil - melted
- 4 Weetbix / weetabix
- Honey - choose a runny honey
- Water - if required to adjust the consistency.

Chocolate And Coconut Bliss Balls
Recipe details
Ingredients
- 1 cup Raisins See note 1
- 3 tablespoon Cocoa powder
- 3 tablespoon Desiccated Coconut Plus 3 tablespoon for dusting (Optional)
- 2 tablespoon Peanut butter
- 1 teaspoon Coconut oil Melted (Optional)
- 4 Weetbix Or Weetabix
- 1 tablespoon Honey
- 1- 2 tablespoon Water (If required, see note 2)
Instructions
- Place the raisins, cocoa powder, 3 tablespoon desiccated coconut, peanut butter, coconut oil (if using) weetbix and honey in the food process or mini chopper.
- Mix ingredients well. until they are starting to come together forming a ball.Add a little water if required and blitz again to help bring the dough together.
- Take the mixture out, divide evenly and roll into balls.
- (Optional) Roll balls in the remaining desiccated coconut.
- Cover and place in the fridge to cool and set. Enjoy!
Tips
- Note 1 - Can be substituted with chopped dates or your can use half and half.
- Note 2 - Depending on consistency add a little water to help the mixture come together. Be careful not to add too much, add a little then mix again and check the consistency.
- For storage: keep them in a sealed container in the fridge.
