Ingredients

  • 2 cups self raising flour
  • 1/5 cups sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 100 ml canola oil
  • 100 ml coconut cream
  • 150 grams desiccated coconut
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius (355 degrees Fahrenheit). Prepare a round springform pan, line with parchment paper and spray with spray oil to prevent sticking.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar and eggs and still until well incorporated. Add in the oil and coconut cream.
Gently fold in the coconut and pour batter into the prepared pan. Place the pan into the oven.
Let the cake bake for 35 minutes, it should have turned golden and a skewer poked to the middle should come out clean.
Remove from the oven and serve.
