Glittered Peanut Butter Balls

For my granddaughters 16th birthday we were trying to figure out what to make since she does not like cake. She does love anything peanut butter though and of course we needed to fancy them up. These are very easy to make, all be it a little messy but they turned out cute and she loved them. It only takes four ingredients which is a big plus too. You just mix the peanut butter, confectioners sugar and butter together until it forms a dough. Make sure it is not too dry if so add a little more peanut butter. Refrigerate the dough for at least a couple of hours this makes it easier to roll into balls. I set out some wax paper and rolled all the balls up first before dipping them into the chocolate. after they are rolled I put them on a cookie sheet and put them back in the refrigerator for about a half of an hour. This made it much easier to dip. I melted the chocolate, you can use any chocolate you want. I used some milk chocolate melting chips and some dark chocolate melting chips. Both tasted wonderful. Dip them into the chocolate using a skewer or a fork. Let drip some chocolate off and set on waxed paper to dry. We immediately put the cake glitter onto the balls as it dries fast.

Don't they look pretty?

Here are the ingredients to make the balls.

The theme was sunflowers and gold so we added some sunflower picks.

Mixing together the ingredients.

You can make them any size you would like. This is before dipping.
