These Grinch inspired brownies are the perfect holiday treat for your fans of the green grumpy guy. Here is how to make them this season.
Brownies are an easy and fun treat to make at home. Whether you make them from a mix or make homemade brownies, either way they are delicious.

This how to is very easy to make no matter what type of brownies you mix up. Here’s what you need.
- 1 package brownie mix
- 1 egg
- ⅓ cup oil
- ¼ cup water
- ½ can of vanilla frosting
- Green food coloring
- Red heart sprinkles
Be sure to note that the amount of oil, egg and water are based on the brownie mix used here. Be sure to adjust this based on the instructions you have if you are using a store bought brownie mix.

To get started, you will want to preheat your oven to 350 F. Grease a 9 x 9 square baking pan with non-stick cooking spray and set aside.
In a large mixing bowl, mix together brownie mix, water, egg, and oil. You can also use a stand mixer or hand mixer if you prefer.
Mix all of your ingredient for your brownies extremely well.
Pour your brownie mixture into a baking pan and bake for 30 minutes.
Let brownies cool to room temperature.
Heat frosting in the microwave for 30 seconds in a small mixing bowl. We used vanilla frosting here, but you can use any white frosting you desire.
Mix in 5-10 drops of green food coloring and mix the frosting until well combined. If you would like it a little darker,, add a few more drops.
Pour the green frosting over the top of cooled brownies.
Cut the Grinch brownies recipe into squares and add 1 red heart sprinkle to each brownie. Let the frosting firm up before enjoying.
Store the brownies in an air tight storage container until enjoying.
