Easter Bunny Cinnamon Rolls

These can be easy or a little labor involved. It depends on what way you decide to make the dough. I mixed up my homemade bread dough but these can easily be made with frozen bread dough, leave it out until thawed. After I let my dough raise I rolled the dough into a semi rectangle. I added my softened butter all over the dough, then I added the cinnamon and brown sugar. I ended up cutting them into long pieces about one to one and a half inch strips. Then you twist the two ends together to form a round and then put the ends at the top to from tow bunny ears. I tried to point as much of the cinnamon area of the strips toward the center so they wouldn't dry up in the oven. After they baked and cooled I used my homemade butter cream frosting recipe to spread onto the face and the ears of the bunnies. They turned out cute, I think if you added some eyes, nose and whiskers they would be adorable. I just didn't have anything to do that with at the time. I did add a couple of M&M's to one of them, but I am sure you could do better. My grandchildren did love them and actually called them bunnies so I knew I did good!

Here is my dough after it raised. If you use the frozen you would not want to raise it first.

Roll it out so you can cut strips.

I smothered mine with the softened butter.

Added the cinnamon and brown sugar.

Cut into strips.

Twist into bunny shapes.

My homemade buttercream frosting.

Here i put some candies for eyes.
