Now that that's out of the way.

If you want to make your own sandwich bread, it's actually really easy. This bread, made with oat flour, is an easy first bread recipe. Because of the way this recipe is, you don't use any yeast in it. That makes it a quick bread. It's called that because you can make it quickly. You don't have to worry about waiting for it to proof or rise, like you have to do when you make bread using yeast.

What's also good about this recipe is it uses oat flour rather than all purpose flour. Oat flour is gluten free, so if you can't have gluten, or if you know someone who can't have gluten, this bread is a great one for you or them.

Mix together milk, eggs, and honey in a large mixing bowl.

Sift oat flour, salt, and baking powder. Add to the wet ingredients.

Pour the batter into a pan.

Bake at 350 F for 25 minutes. Cover the bread with a piece of foil and bake for an additional 20 minutes.

Remove from the oven and take off the foil while it cools.
