Yes, I am aware that it is only the middle of August. Some might say it’s too early for fall recipes, but when you make one that is this good, it is never too early for pumpkin! I think this might be my favorite pumpkin recipe that I have ever made, and maybe even one of my favorite breakfasts I have made! You definitely need to try this pumpkin brioche French toast. Although you could make it with Texas toast or another type of bread, I would definitely suggest trying it with brioche first because it’s too good not to!

  • 1 loaf of brioche bread
  • 3 eggs
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup pumpkin purée
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp allspice
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg
  • 1/4 tsp ginger
  • 1/4 tsp cloves

Heat a griddle to medium low heat and spray with cooking spray.
Whisk together the eggs, milk, pumpkin purée, cinnamon, allspice, nutmeg, ginger, and cloves.
Dip each slice of brioche in the egg mixture and fry each side until golden brown.
Top with butter and maple syrup and enjoy😋
