This Chocolate Chip Banana Bread recipe will make you throw every other banana bread recipe in the trash! It is THE BEST!! You can't just take my word for it though. You will have to try it on your own. And please let me know your thoughts when you have made it.

I mean seriously! You want some right now don't you? I am actually about to head into the kitchen and make one right now! I mean this when I say it, this banana bread only lasts in our house the day I cook it. That is how wonderful it is!

My mouth is watering now.

  • 2 sticks butter, melted
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 3 ripe bananas, mashed
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 3/4 cup semi sweet chocolate chips
  • 2 eggs

Preheat oven to 300 degrees.
Spray loaf pan with Pam cooking spray.
Melt butter.
Add remaining ingredients and stir the ingredients well by hand.
Pour mixture into prepared loaf pan.
Add extra chocolate chips to the top of the mixture.
Bake at 300 degrees for about 1 hour to 1:15 minutes.
Using toothpick, see if middle is done before taking it out of the oven.
Let banana bread cool for a bit and then flip it over onto a decorative dish.
  • You can separate this into two pans if you would like. It cooks faster and you can share one with a neighbor.
