This white wine spritzer is easy to make and has a subtle sweetness. The peach and mint flavors are refreshing and sparkling water gives it a little fizz.

There are many things at our homestead that are routine. Our morning homestead chores, like feeding the chickens and watering the garden, and one of my favorites, our afternoon walks.

Every day we try to make it a priority to go on a short afternoon walk. Jupiter is always leading the pack making sure the path is safe. It warms my heart to see how much he loves going on an adventure. During the winter months, it’s a bit harder to convince ourselves to take the walk, but in the summer, it’s something I look forward to every day.

On these walks, I am usually enjoying with a refreshing drink in hand, another reason I look forward to these walks. This white wine spritzer is the perfect drink to enjoy while taking a summer walk, at a summer get-together, or just a refreshing spritz at the end of the day.

This cocktail was inspired by delicious summer produce. I love using fresh ingredients that are in season and peaches are a summer treat. Peaches are in season from May until September but are at their peak during July and August. They are sweet, but not too sweet and add such a refreshing flavor to any recipe.

This peach mint white wine spritzer is made by blending peaches, mint, and a little honey to add to the sweetness. From there, strain the peach mixture to get a smooth and sweet peach juice and pour it over white wine and top with sparkling water, like Topo Chico. It’s that easy!

WHICH WHITE WINE SHOULD I CHOOSE?

Now I am no sommelier, not even close but I have found that most white wines pair well with peaches. Don’t stress about choosing the right wine. For my cocktail, I used a Pinot Grigio but a Sauvignon Blanc or a Reisling work great. If you are looking for a new wine to try, I love anything from Loop de Loop.

Make this cocktail just for you, or make a large batch in a pitcher for a summer dinner party. You can also substitute the wine for vodka omit the alcohol altogether and it is a delicious juice.

  • Peaches are one of my favorite summer stone fruit. It has been a rough year for peaches where I live due to extended drought. Still, ample supply, and worth a try for this very refreshing cocktail. Thanks for sharing and pinning!
