Summer is in full swing, easy breezy days by the beach or the pool. I love to spend summer days with my family and friends. I look forward every year, is to entertain and prepare easy and refreshing recipes to share with all family and friends.


One of my favorite appetizers to share while entertaining or to bring to a summer party, is this easy smoked ahi tuna tartare recipe. Just a few ingredients to add to your Trader joe's grocery list, to impress your guest with a delicious, tangy and flavorful appetizer. It is light, healthy and so tasty.

A creamy avocado layer topped off with smoked ahi tuna and sprinkled with micro greens. Perfectly served with grain free chips.

Ingredients

  • 1 pack of Smoked Ahi Tuna from @traderjoes
  • 1 tsp of lime juice
  • lime zest ( from 1 lime)
  • 1 tsp of coconut aminos
  • 1 tsp of sesame oil
  • 1 TBSP of chopped green onion
  • 1 small Hass avocado
  • 1 handful of micro greens for toppings
  • 1 bag of grain free cassava chips from @traderjoes
  • Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions

First peel and mash the avocado and seasoned with salt, pepper and a drizzle of lime.
Then ope the Smoked Ahi tuna packet and chopped finely. Then add the lime zest, lime juice, coconut aminos, sesame oil and green onions. combine all the ingredients together.
Then get a mold of choice, I used a round mold, then add the avocado mixture first, then add the ahi tuna mix and take the mold off. Then top it off with micro greens and pair it with grain free chips from @traderjoes
