If you have been hanging around here very long, you know that I LOVE my Instant Pot. We have tons of great INSTANT POT RECIPES! It’s no secret that I think this is right up there with the good old Crock Pot, blender and toaster oven. it is in my opinion, a kitchen necessity. If for no other reason the amount of time it saves when cooking things like fresh frozen veggies!

Here at The Buttered Home, we love to have fresh peas and butter beans all year long. We work very hard in the summer to put them up so we can. Cooking them from frozen can take a while so the IP is a great way to have them and have them FAST!

We cook them up with a ham hock to get that wonderful flavor from the smoked ham and marrow and finish them off with a pat of butter for shine and a smooth buttery flavor!
