Ramen Pho Bowl at Home
Big fan of Asian cuisine in this house but sometimes I rather make it at home to save on the travel and cost. Ramen, Pho bowls are pretty easy to make and are inspired by something I get at my favorite Vietnamese restaurant (except as you'd expect, the OG is better then the imitation ;)
I start with the Ginger broth from Trader Joes which is my favorite broth. I always keep it on hand if someone in the house is under the weather!
I boil the broth in a pot with carrots, snow peas and mushrooms.
Once the soup is boiling, and I do mean BOILING, you can pour it over your ramen and beef.
I got this Ramen at Costco (it wasn't my favorite but I wanted to give it a try).
This is why you will want the soup very hot because you will need it to cook the ramen and the shaved beef.
A tip is to cover the bowl with a pot lid to trap the heat.
Once the beef looks cooked and the ramen is soft, I add a hard boiled egg and enjoy!
