  • 1lb ground chicken
  • 1 medium white onion, chopped
  • 1 tbsp minced garlic
  • 2 tbsp tomato paste
  • 1/2 head of green cabbage, chopped
  • 1, 32oz carton of beef broth
  • 1, 14.5oz can of fire roasted tomatoes
  • 1 cup vegetable juice
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp ground allspice
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

Heat olive oil in a large pot or Dutch oven over medium heat
Add onion, garlic and ground chicken. Sauté until chicken is cooked through and onion is tender.
Add tomato paste and cook for additional 2 minutes.
Add remaining ingredients, stir and bring to a boil.
Reduce heat to a simmer and cook for about 30-45 minutes, stirring occasionally.
