It’s starting to feel more like the holidays here at Two Kids and a Coupon. The Iowa weather has turned chilly and we’re starting to see holiday lights appear around the neighborhood.
While we haven’t gotten out our own holiday decorations and goodies yet, I’ve got lots of Christmas fun planned. With delicious Christmas recipes and holiday crafts, there is something fun for everyone.
Since food is such a big part of the holiday season for nearly everyone, I’ve been sharing some delicious new recipe ideas to add to your menu. This next one is super simple and is perfect for holiday entertaining.
This easy chip recipe makes 6 servings. You will need about 10 minutes to make it and 10 minutes of cooking time.
- 1 package spinach tortillas
- Spray olive oil
- Salt to taste
To get started, preheat your oven to 350 degrees F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
On a cutting board cut out different sized Christmas trees with cookie cutters.
A 2 in and 4 in Christmas tree cookie cutter was used here, but feel free to use whatever you have on hand.
Place the cut out chips on the parchment lined baking sheet.
Lightly spray the Christmas tree tortilla chips.
You can use any brand of avocado oil or olive oil spray. Spray works best for this recipe rather than brushing them with oil, which can make your chips soggy.
Sprinkle the chips with salt if desired. You can also add additional seasonings if you desire.
Bake the tortilla chips for 7 to 10 minutes or until the tortillas start to bubble.
Once the chips are cool enough to eat. Enjoy with your favorite dip recipe. These are best when you can enjoy them fresh, but store any leftovers in an airtight container.
