Loaded Chicken Burgers

These are not your everyday boring chicken burgers, they’re loaded with scallions, red peppers, spinach and grated zucchini, yes, that’s what keeps them super moist!

I find grilling gives the best flavor. We leave our grill on the deck all year long and use it a lot…I also hate washing dishes so there’s that 😊

Insured the zucchini with a box grater, I use frozen chopped spinach, defrosted and drained well, dice the scallions and pepper

Pink salt, garlic powder and nutritional yeast are my other additions, you can of course swap these out and use spices you like

One pound of ground chicken will make 4 burgers

Mix all together

Form the patties

And I give them a sprinkle of Montreal Seasoning before grilling, it gives them great flavor!

  • 1 lb ground chicken

  • 1/2 red pepper diced

  • 1/2 package frozen chopped spinach, thawed and drained

  • 2 scallions diced

  • 1 cup shredded zucchini

  • 1/4 cup nutritional yeast

  • Salt, garlic powder and Montreal seasoning if you like
For the grill
Preheat grill to 400

Place Pattie’s on grill for 7-8 mins, then turn and cook for an additional 7-8 mins until cooked through until internal temp is 165 degrees
