Enjoy this simple air fryer chicken wings recipe with these flavour-packed Vietnamese-style fish sauce chicken wings! This delicious fish sauce marinade creates a sticky sweet flavour that will become your new favourite way to enjoy wings!

We visited Vietnam back in 2014 and tried a similar dish. It was the stand out dish from our trip, amongst so many delicious flavours and traditional dishes.

It became a mission once we got home to recreate something similar and with a little experimenting, this recipe was formed and tweaked into the yummy dish it is now.

Vietnamese Air Fryer Chicken Wings

Make your marinade the day before you want to serve your wings if there is time. At a minimum, aim for several hours of marinating your chicken wings before cooking. This allows the flavour to soak right in.

You can also cook these wings in the oven if you don't have an air fryer, however the air fryer is a quick way to achieve a slightly crisp skin.
