Easy. Creamy. Delicious.
This baked spinach dip is an all time favourite of mine! A few years ago, I decided to switch out some of the the classic mayo and sub in some plain Greek yogurt and I have never looked back! It is tangy, savoury and oh so delicious.
I love serving this up with some baguette, fresh chopped vegetables and a variety of salami. This dip has been a staple whenever I make a charcuterie board and it is always a hit!
Hope you enjoy this recipe!
PS - it’s also delicious when spread over chicken and baked in the oven 😉
Baked Spinach Dip
Recipe details
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup frozen spinach, thawed and drained
- 1 brick of cream cheese, at room temperature
- 1/2 cup light mayonnaise
- 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt
- 1 tsp of each; salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika
- 1 cup shredded cheese (I like using marble or cheddar)
Instructions
- Begin by thawing your frozen spinach. Once mine has thawed, I like to press it between 2 clean paper towels to remove any extra moisture. Once the excess water has been removed, place in large mixing bowl.
- To the large mixing bowl, add in cream cheese, mayo, Greek yogurt and seasonings. Use a spatula to combine. Mix until everything is fully incorporated.
- Spoon dip into a pie plate or round cake pan. Use a spatula to spread out evenly. Top with shredded cheese.
- Bake for about 17 minutes and then finish on low broil so the cheese is melty and perfectly browned.
- Serve hot with crackers, chopped vegetables or cubed bread and enjoy!
