Air Fried Salmon Rice Bowls
I really love Asian inspired food. I think it has a lot of flavor jam packed. This salmon rice bowl is very easy and quick to make.
I really like using this thai sweet ginger sauce from trader joe's for marinating. I've used it on chicken in other recipes and it goes just as well with salmon.
I started by cubing the salmon and putting it in a zip lock bag with the sauce on top. This was a piece from Costco because I wanted extra for the week.
I then added spices some soy sauce, and honey, and let it marinate for at least 20 minutes in the fridge. But it could stay in there for a few hours.
After it's done marinating place on a baking sheet. And put in the air fryer for twelve minutes at four hundred degrees fahrenheit.
Halfway through flip the salmon.
I love baking my salmon in the air fryer. It comes out so juicy and crispy at the same time.
In a bowl, start by placing a cup of rice, then add avocado, some edamame, and chopped up veggies. I like carrots and some broccoli slaw.
Add the salmon on top, a little sesame seeds, onion and more sauce (Sriracha adds some nice heat too!) and enjoy😉
