Here is what you will need to make The Best Peach Cobbler Recipe-5 large Peaches, 1/4 c. Sugar, 1 T. Dry Tapioca, dash Cinnamon, 1/4 t. Vanilla. For the cake batter, you will need 1/2 c. Butter, 1 c. Sugar, 1 1/2 c. Flour, 1/2 t. Salt, 1/2 c. Milk, 1 t. Vanilla.

Is it better to use frozen or canned peaches for peach cobbler?

Can I use canned peaches instead of fresh? Yes, you can use fresh, frozen or canned peaches. If you are using canned peaches, do not drain the peaches. The juice will make a wonderful filling. However, you may need to add a bit more tapioca. This is seriously the best peach cobbler recipe out there – give it a try!

In a mixing bowl, mix together peaches, sugar, tapioca, cinnamon and vanilla. Pour into a buttered baking dish.

How do you make peach cobbler not runny?

By adding the dry tapioca, the juice will thicken and make a wonderful filling. Do you drain can peaches for peach cobbler? no, you want to use the juice. Use the whole can: This recipe calls for using the entire can of peaches. If you drain it, then the cobbler may turn out too dry. However, you may need to add a bit more dry tapioca.
