Cheddar Garlic Pull Apart Bread

12 muffins
20 min

If you need something to serve with soups, stews, or spaghetti, this Cheddar Garlic Pull Apart Bread is perfect. It's made in the same way that monkey bread is, where you take pieces of bread dough and put it together to make one large bread that pulls apart piece by piece.

These are a little different because instead of making one huge monkey bread that everyone eats family style, these are individualized mini monkey breads that can be served on each person's dinner plate.

It's a fun way for kids to play with their food while still eating dinner.

Ingredients

  • Refrigerated biscuits
  • Cheddar cheese
  • Garlic
  • Olive oil
  • Salt
  • Garlic powder
Instructions

Cut each refrigerated biscuit into six equally sized pieces.

Put them in a bowl and add shredded cheese, grated garlic, olive oil, and seasoning. Stir until everything is combined.

Start distributing your pieces into a prepared muffin pan. Each cavity should have four pieces of biscuit and should be the same height in the cavities.

Bake at 350 F for 15 minutes until the tops and edges start to brown.

Let them cool and serve with your favorite dinner or just enjoy as a snack on its own. We like to serve this with pasta dishes that have a lot of sauce, like lasagna or baked ziti, so you can scoop up the sauce with pieces of the monkey bread.
