I love sardines in all kinds of combinations and cooked in every possible way. They are super delicious, simple to make and packed full with nutrients. And done in no time!
I have simply seasoned them with salt and pepper, added some olive oil, white wine, garlic and one tablespoon of breadcrumbs. I have roasted them in the oven for about half an hour. And that’s about it.
You will have a very healthy and pleasing meal in under 30 minutes if you work quickly. They are great when served on bruschettas, with some fresh or quick pickled onion, little lettuce and cheese. And olive oil of course.
- 500 g sardines (17.64 oz)
- 5 tbsp olive oil
- 50 ml white wine (¼ cup)
- 3 cloves of garlic
- 1 tbsp breadcrumbs
- salt and pepper
- Prepare the fish.
- Season it with salt and pepper, add some olive oil and white wine. Add garlic and one tablespoon of breadcrumbs.
- Roast it in the oven for about 25 minutes on 180 degrees Celsius. And enjoy!
