Poached eggs have always been intimidating to me. They just seem... complicated. Recently, I visited Bermuda and had THE best eggs benedict with poached eggs and bacon. I don't know what it was, but those international eggs hit different. As soon as I came back, I decided to commit to learning how to make poached eggs. Turns out- they're super easy! Here are a few tips to help you get the perfect poached egg:

- Crack you egg into a bowl first. This prevents shells accidentally getting in, and this provides a smooth transition into the water.

- Add a little bit of white vinegar to the water and use the water tornado method where you swirl the water around before dropping the egg in.

- Prepare an ice bath to drop the eggs in afterwards in order to stop the cooking. This helps you get the yolk perfectly runny every time.
