Homemade Spaghetti Sauce

5 cups
1 hr 15 min

This Homemade Spaghetti Sauce recipe is so simple and so delicious! The fresh basil and parsley give it an extra something special along with roasting some of the ingredients in the oven first. It uses fresh ingredients that we get from our garden, farmers market or grocery store-depending on the time of year. It freezes great for easy make-ahead meals. We like to add Jimmy Dean sausage to this sauce. It tastes great if you want to go meatless, too. Ground beef is also delicious in this spaghetti sauce.
