Homemade chimichurri is so delicious! It smells so fresh and amazing. It is super simple to make because there is no cooking to it, and full of healthy ingredients. I like to put it on steak but it can also be added to fish, chicken, or veggies.
Chimichurri is a sauce used in a lot of Argentinian cooking. It usually is paired with meat and has many variations. I liked to adjust its flavor according to taste or the dish you are pairing it with, however the recipe below is a very standard version of the sauce that can be used to add flavor to most dishes.

- 1 bunch of parsley
- 1 bunch of cilantro
- 1 scallion stalk
- 1 long red chili pepper
- 1 clove of garlic
- 1 lemon (juice)
- 1/2 cup olive oil
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- Add all ingredients to a food processor or blender
- Blend until smooth
