Ready to make a simple strawberry sorbet in your Ninja Creami? It only requires two ingredients – fresh or frozen strawberries and canned pears.

To take this sorbet to the next level, I’ve added a secret ninja twist – Elderberry Balsamic Vinegar.

It’s strawberry season when I’m writing this post, and there’s nothing as delicious as a fresh, ripe strawberry! But don’t worry, you can make this recipe with frozen berries as well.

I love this sorbet because it’s sweetened with canned pears, which contribute to its silky smooth texture, but doesn’t overwhelm the flavor of the strawberries.

Remember, cooking is all about experimenting and having fun in the process. So try different fruit, extracts, or balsamic vinegar in this recipe to make it your own.

Do I Need Fresh Strawberries to Make this Sorbet?

You don’t need them, but if they are in season I recommend using fresh for the best flavor.

But frozen works and if that’s what you have I can be on team frozen strawberries with you!

My Ice Cream Isn’t Creamy After the First Spin – Help!

Take a deep zen breath. It happens to all of us and actually isn’t a big deal at all. Just put the pint back into the outer container, pop on the outer lid again, and use the respin setting.

You pint may be extra cold, or have less liquid, or many other reasons. But in this case you don’t have to fix the reason.

Still not smooth after the first respin? Add a tablespoon or two of water and respin again.
