Tips for Making Strawberry Lemon Blondies

  • Allow your eggs and butter to come to room temperature before you begin mixing.
  • Watch them closely while baking – they can dry out rather easily if they are overbaked.
  • Allow them to completely cool before adding the frosting. If the blondies are still warm, then the frosting will begin to melt.

Variations

Strawberries are our favorite in these blondies, but if they aren’t yours, you can easily switch it out. Try making these with blueberries, raspberries, or even blackberries. Any of those berries make a great combination with lemon. Adding in some white chocolate chips would also be delicious!
