Maple Syrup Nut Bread Recipe

Maple quick bread is a simple quick bread that uses chopped nuts and real Vermont maple syrup. We enjoy it for breakfast with coffee or as a dessert.

Why should you use pure maple syrup when baking

When you use real maple syrup in baking, it adds a subtle sweetness and depth of flavor that can’t be replicated with any other type of sweetener. It also helps to moisten and bind ingredients together, making it the perfect ingredient for quick bread.

Where to find real maple syrup

You can find real maple syrup at most grocery stores, but we recommend buying it directly from a local Vermont sugar maker. There are many sugar makers in Vermont that offer tours and tastings.
