The newest addition to our family arrived last week! A beautiful baby boy named Fields. I am trying my hardest to breastfeed, but it just doesn’t come easy for me as I’ve always had a hard time producing enough milk.

One thing I have found to help with increasing milk supply is lactation cookies or lactation bites made with brewers yeast, oatmeal and flaxseed.

This weekend, I decided to put a pumpkin spice twist on lactation bites and they turned out delicious. I know it’s August, but is there such a thing as too early for pumpkin spice?! I don’t think so!

These bites are delicious paired with coffee in the morning or used as an afternoon pick me up. And you don’t need to be breastfeeding to enjoy them, they are a delicious, healthy snack for anyone.

My favorite pumpkin pie spice is from Trader Joe’s

This recipe comes together in 3 easy steps. You start by mixing all of the ingredients except the chocolate chips in a standing mixer.

Then you stir the chocolate chips in until we’ll incorporated.

Form into 20 balls and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.

They are the perfect, healthy, pumpkin spice snack.
