There are times when I get really hungry in between meals and I find myself overeating and then I end up not being hungry for supper. That’s when these monster cookie protein bites are lifesavers! They hold your hunger over and are the perfect little snack. I also love eating them as a pre workout or post workout snack, or just when I need to satisfy my sweet tooth. They remind me of being a little girl again, licking the cookie dough off of the beaters after my mom baked some monster cookies😋 They really are so good. Plus, they are totally customizable!
Monster Cookie Protein Bites
Recipe details
Ingredients
- 2 scoops of your favorite protein powder (I do one scoop of vanilla and one scoop of chocolate)
- 1 cup of oats
- 1/2 cup of your favorite nut butter (I do 1/4 cup peanut butter and 1/4 cup almond butter)
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1 Tbsp chia seeds
- 1 Tbsp flax seeds
- 2 Tbsp mini chocolate chips
- 2 Tbsp mini m&ms
Instructions
- Mix all of the ingredients together.
- Add a little water if it’s too dry.
- Roll into balls.
- Top with additional chocolate chips and m&ms.
- Chill for 30 minutes.
- Store in the fridge!
