When getting ready for the holidays?You don't want to overthink it. Sometimes the BEST cookies start with ready-to-bake-cookie dough. That way you can spend more time decorating the cookies than baking them.Here's the step-by-step on how to make them.
Here's an example of the finished cookies. You could add sprinkles or polka dotted icing to them as well.It might be cute for a cookie party to add names to the cookies, too.
Step 1:  Place piece of cookie dough on baking sheet.Step 2:  Slice a second piece of cookie dough and place next to first (as shown).
Step 3:  Pinch two pieces of dough together to form a skate.Step 4:  Bake according to directions and let cool.
Step 5:  Apply white icing to cookie and red icing for laces. Attach small candy canes to the base of the skate with icing.Step 6: Pour a cup of hot chocolate add mini marshmallows take a bite of a freshly iced ice skate cookie. Winter never tasted so good.
