Chocolate Chip Candy Valentine Cookies Recipe

Do you like to make treats and bake for those you love? I bake often at Two Kids and a Coupon and this is a way I can help my family celebrate special occasions, special wins or even normal old Tuesdays.

We make a variety of recipes, and one hands down favorite is cookies.

These sweet treats are easy to make and delicious to enjoy. I’ve been asked by a few followers that we feature some new cookie recipes for you to make for your family.

To help you celebrate the ones you love, our next cookie recipe is inspired by Valentine’s Day. These easy from scratch chocolate chip cookies use chocolate candies for a cute and delicious treat.

Here is how to make them!

• 1/2 Cup Butter (Soft)
• 1/2 Cup Sugar
• 1/4 Cup Brown Sugar
• 1 Tbs Vanilla
• 1 Large Egg
• 1 1/4 Cup Flour
• 1/2 Tsp Baking Soda
• 1/2 Tsp Salt
• 1/2 Cup Chocolate Chips
• 1/4 Cup Valentine M&M

Pre-heat your oven to 350 degrees.

In a large mixing bowl, combine, butter, sugar, brown sugar, vanilla, egg, flour, baking soda, chocolate chips & salt.

Roll this valentine cookies recipe dough into tablespoon sized balls or use a cookie scoop and place on a nonstick pan or baking sheet.

Bake for 10 minutes or until cookies are set. Remove from the oven. Quickly place valentine M&M’s onto the warm cookies. Transfer to a cooling rack and allow to cool until you are ready to enjoy.
