This recipe is an old one handed down in my family. It is an easy one to make. It is perfect with the fresh from the trees peaches and apples right now. I know it is usually a fall dessert but when the fruit is fresh and it is an easy to throw together recipe. It makes it perfect for Summer too. You peel your peaches and apples and core them , cut them into slices or bite size pieces whichever you prefer. Add in your sweetness., sugar and cinnamon and vanilla extract. Then you mix the topping ingredients together and put on the top of the fruit mixture and bake. You can either serve it warm with a scoop of ice cream or homemade whipped topping. Or you can serve it cooled. Either way it is very good and the crumbly topping is a little sweet also and adds a great little crunch to each bite.

The combination is very lovely. It is not too sweet but tastes so fresh.

Here is my apples all peeled and sliced.

Then I added in my peaches I had peeled and sliced and put into the freezer knowing it would be a few days before I got this made.

Adding in the cinnamon and sugar and vanilla extract.

Mix together all your topping ingredients.

Drop over the top of the fruit mixture.

And Bake until browned and bubbly.
