I mean…is there anything better than baked brie?!

That ooey gooey cheesy deliciousness is the type of stuff I dream about.

Literally. Like most of my dreams are about food. More than half of them cheese-related.

So, when you take baked brie and combine it with spicy sweet bacon and cranberry?! Oooooeeeee, we got a good time.

This is the perfect Thanksgiving appetizer or post-Thanksgiving snack to use up all that extra cranberry sauce!

Plus, it’s super easy!

Preheat oven to 400°.

Place two slices of thick-cut bacon onto a parchment paper lined baking sheet.

Brush each strip on both sides with 1 tsp of hot honey and 1 tsp of maple syrup.

Vic Trick: If you can find thick cut maple bacon, you can skip the maple syrup. But that maple flavor is just so good, I highly recommend adding it.

Place them into the oven and cook for 20 mins or so, flipping halfway through.

In the meantime, make the garlic toasts.

Melt 2 tbsp of butter and 2 cloves of minced garlic in the microwave or over the stove. Mix in fresh or dried oregano – about 1 tsp.

Slice a baguette or the crusty bread of your choice into thin slices, about 1/2 inch thick.

Brush each slice of bread with the garlic butter and place onto a baking sheet. Set aside for now.

Take the bacon out of the oven and place onto paper towels to soak the grease.

Then just take a minute to marvel at how freakin delicious that bacon looks.

Dice the bacon into tiny little chunks of spicy smoky amazingness and add it into a bowl with 1/2 cup of cranberry sauce.

Vic Trick: I used the same bowl from the garlic butter to make the cranberry mixture *drool*.

Add in a pinch of fresh or dried oregano and mix it all together. I mean…how good does that look?!

Lower the oven to 350°.

Place the brie onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Take a knife and make a crosshatch pattern on the top of the brie. Brush the top with hot honey.

Top the brie with the cranberry & bacon mixture and place into the oven – along with the garlic toasts – and bake for 10 minutes.

Remove from the oven, place the brie and toasts onto a platter, and just watch that delicious brie run right out.

I am literally drooling looking at this. I need this again ASAP.
