Using your spatula, scrape the insides of the bowl.

Spoon batter into muffin tin half full then place the tins into the oven.

Are there 2 eggs or 4 eggs?

I went to the Bisquick Website. The same recipe is there and lists only 2 eggs. Crisco is all vegetable shortening. A pre-creamed shortening which would contain animal fat, margarine or butter can be used in it’s place in many recipes but does not always work well and may change nutritional information, flavor or texture of the end product.

What is the recipe for the buttercream frosting?

    • Maria Krisch Maria Krisch on Feb 14, 2023

I use a box of confectionary sugar (powdered), 1 cup softened butter and 1 tsp vanilla.

cream together in a mixer. Start on lowest speed and whip until soft and fluffy. If you want chocolate, I add cocoa powder (Nestle’ or Ghilradelli) I’m not sure of the amount, just add a little at a time until is where you want it. I’m sure there’s recipes online.
