This Triple Chocolate Bundt Cake is the most amazing rich chocolate cake recipe to cure any sweet tooth! It’s perfect for holiday dinners, potlucks, girls’ night in, and just a good chocolate craving fixing.

I made this the first time back in 2014 and every time I have made it since it doesn’t last long! Now I throw all of the cake ingredients right into my Kitchen Aid Mixer’s mixer bowl and let it do all the hard work!! Just a couple of simple steps to make this delicious cake! This is really an easy recipe to make a decadent chocolate fudge cake. My dad has been known to ask for it as his birthday cake.

TRIPLE CHOCOLATE BUNDT CAKE RECIPE INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 Box Betty Crocker Super Moist Triple Chocolate Fudge Cake Mix
  • A (5.9 ounce) package Instant Chocolate Pudding Mix
  • 1/2 Cup Vegetable Oil
  • 4 Eggs
  • 1/2 Cup Warm Water
  • 1 Bag Semisweet Chocolate Chips
  • 1 cup Sour Cream
  • Powdered Sugar

HOW TO MAKE TRIPLE CHOCOLATE BUNDT CAKE:

Grease your bundt pan with Crisco or a spray, I do this even with a nonstick pan. You could use a bundt glass pan as well.

Heat oven to 350 degrees before starting.

Gather your dry ingredients and wet ingredients.

Set to the side the chocolate chips and the warm water those will be added in one of the last step instructions.

In a large bowl combine all other ingredients until well mixed. I start with 1/2 cup vegetable oil, sour cream, and 4 large eggs and then add in the dry ingredients at a medium speed.

After mixing the box mix and other dry ingredients, slowly mix in the chocolate chips until well mixed.Add after that your 1/2 cup of warm water and allow the mixer to mix it well at a low speed. My mom said to do it this way so the chocolate chips didn’t melt and the pudding didn’t set as well.

Pour into your greased bundt pan.

Bake time is about 45 minutes until the toothpick comes out semi-clean (if you hit a melted chocolate chip it will be gooey look for cake batter goo)

*Note high altitude will affect how this cake bakes.

Cool cake in the pan and then flip onto a pan or serving dish.

Slice and serve!!!
