Two of my husband's VERY favorite things is chocolate and cherries. He'll take one or the other, but combined? Well, that's a dream come true for him. So a few years ago, I was trying to come up with a way to show how much I appreciate him for doing all he does, and so I came up with the perfect sweet treat that gave him both of his favorites! The bonus? This cake looks super fancy but it's SO easy to make because it's semi-homemade! That's right! The filling is a can of cherry pie filling. But I promise your friends and family won't mind!
