Chocolate banana bread is so easy to make. I always seem to have extra bananas at home and this recipe is one of my favorites! It's a nice soft banana bread with just the right amount of banana flavor. The chocolate is enough to feel indulgent but isn't too rich. It's great with coffee or as an afternoon snack. I hope you enjoy this recipe as much as I do!

FREQUENTLY ASKKD QUESTIONS

  • Can the banana bread be frozen? Yes you can. Store in an air tight container for best results.
  • Do I have to use ripe bananas? Yes you do. You need them to be nice and soft. Fresh bananas are too firm.
  • Can you swap the walnuts for something different? Yes you can. Use any nut you prefer or leave them out entirely.
  • Can you use a sugar alternative like Stevia? Yes you can. Use the same amount as listed for the sugar in the recipe.
