Strawberry Smoothie

It is strawberry season! Well, you can always buy strawberries in the store but, our strawberries are growing and ready to eat from our garden! We use frozen strawberries for this smoothie or fresh strawberries. If we use fresh, we like to blend in some ice for a cold frosty taste and feel. This smoothie is sweet from the strawberries and banana. It is creamy from the greek yogurt. You can add some flax seed and/or some protein powder for extra goodness. Adding ice gives any smoothie a frosty goodness, perfect for warm summer days. Enjoy this and our other smoothies for breakfast or anytime of the day. Smoothies are a great way to replace a dessert when you are craving something sweet. Click here for our other smoothie recipes: Smoothie Recipes You Will Love!

Creamy and refreshing!

Add a strawberry to garnish.

I love breakfast smoothies! I love to add different things to them to get as many of my fruits and veggies first thing in the morning. Check out our other smoothies.

This recipe is for 16 ounces. This is one serving for me for breakfast. However, it can be split between two people as an addition to breakfast.
