Absolutely!! Strawberry and mango smoothies are super good for you. Mangos by themselves contain so many health benefits. Each ingredient holds vitamins, protein, and anti-oxidants.
This incredible smoothie is dairy-free and vegan!! This smoothie is great for everyone needing a delicious recipe in the morning.
Yes! You can put raw chia seeds into this strawberry smoothie. The best part is that the chia seeds don’t even need to be blended or ground to extract any nutrients, they can be added right in!
Chia seeds do an amazing job o soaking up liquid. But, I always prefer to add them into the smoothie after blending up the fruit and liquids. This will allow the chia seeds to absorb the liquid while blending.
Chia seeds can do so much for a smoothie recipe! They are filled with vitamins and protein and are even considered a superfood because of how amazing the health benefits are. They are super-rich in antioxidants and omega 3 fatty acids which are not only good for your heart but your cholesterol as well as beneficial to the healing of the body.
Chia seeds are great for thickening a smoothie recipe. They will absorb the liquid and become plump which will help with smoothing out and thickening the banana smoothie.

You can use both fresh and frozen fruit. However, I prefer using frozen fruits for this smoothie recipe because it will help with the thickness. It will also make it a lot more smooth and creamy.
I wouldn’t particularly recommend that you blend a smoothie ahead of time, a super hack that saves you a ton of time is using Make-Ahead Smoothie Freezer Packs. This will let you stock up on the smoothie and when you’re ready, you can put in your liquid and combine it.
You will first want to make and blend your smoothie by using the steps below. Next, you can add any other types of protein, nut butter, or greek yogurt. Finally, you can top the smoothie bowl with shredded coconut, granola, and frozen or fresh fruits. Enjoy!
One of my favorite things to do with smoothie leftovers is to make popsicles! You can place the prepared smoothie into popsicle molds. Place the mold into the freezer for a few hours to freeze or overnight for best results!
If you look in your fridge and don’t have any almond milk, that is ok! You can use normal milk or other alternative milk products. I like to go back and forth using almond milk and coconut milk for this mango smoothie.
Some great milk alternatives you can use instead of almond milk are:
- Soy Milk
- Almond Milk
- Coconut Milk
- Oat Milk
- Rice Milk
- Cashew Milk
