Summer is HERE! I am all about soaking up that sunshine and spending as much time as I can outdoors. I am all about those simple recipes in the summer to stay healthy and hydrated after spending some time in the heat!


This pina colada smoothie is a family favourite and oh so tasty! It is the perfect mix of the classic drink you know and love simplified for an easy breakfast! It is cool and refreshing and packs some serious flavour! For an extra twist, toss in some frozen strawberries (pictured down below) for some extra summertime flavour.

Ingredients

  • 1 large banana, peeled
  • 2 cups, froze pineapple
  • 1 cup milk of your choice
  • 3/4 cup Greek yogurt (I like to use plain, vanilla or coconut flavours)
  • 2 tsp coconut extract
Instructions

In a large blender, combine all of the listed ingredients.
Blend on high until desired consistency and texture is smooth.
Serve immediately and enjoy!
