Ingredients
For the sauce
  • 4 tbsp honey
  • 4 tsp rice vinegar
  • 1/2 tsp Huy Fong's Chili Garlic Sauce (or Sriracha)
  • 2 tsp soy sauce
  • 4 tsp flour
  • 1/8 tsp salt
  • 1/4 pepper
  • 4 tbsp sugar
  • 2/3 cup chicken broth
For the chicken
  • 1/3 + 1/4 cup flour
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/3 cup water
  • 1/3 cup milk
  • Chicken
  • Oil
  • Sesame seeds
  • Chopped green onion
Instructions
For the chicken
Cut up your chicken into 1 inch cubes.
In a medium bowl, mix the flour, baking powder, salt, water, and milk and stir until you get a pancake batter consistency.
Drain your chicken of pickle juice and add the chicken to this batter. Stir until all chicken is coated.
Fill a pan with a few inches of oil and heat it up.
Drop your coated chicken in the oil and let it turn golden brown. This should take a few minutes.
Once golden brown, remove from the oil and place on a napkin.
For the sauce
Mix all of the sauce ingredients in a bowl.
In a skillet on medium heat, add the mixture and let it turn into a thick sauce.
Once the sauce is syrupy, toss your cooked chicken in the sauce.
Plate chicken with rice and sprinkle with sesame seeds and chopped green onions.
Enjoy!
