One of my absolute favorite things to have in the morning before I start my day is a vanilla iced matcha latte. I am definitely not a coffee person and would much rather have ant other type of teas. Matcha is a super healthy alternative that I find very enjoyable especially when made right. I love throwing in add-ins such as vanilla, maple syrup, and sometimes even brown sugar to make it tasty! It's light, creamy and incredibly easy to make. I love making a homemade version as its a lot cheaper than getting it from outside. Here's a recipe of my go-to, everyday matcha latte:

Ingredients
- 1/3 cup water
- 1/2 cup milk
- 2 tsp matcha
- 2 tsp maple syrup
- 3 tsp. granulated sugar
- 1/2 tsp vanilla
- 1 cup ice
Instructions
- Boil water.
- Add water into each cup, and add matcha. Stir in. Add in maple syrup, vanilla and granulated sugar. Stir to combine. Add ice, pour in milk and serve cold.
