Stuffed Peppers

Everyone loves meatballs. And everyone loves stuffed peppers. So you can rest assured that everyone will love this version of stuffed peppers because they are stuffed with meatballs. Well, they're stuffed with a meatball mixture. You don't actually have to roll the meatball mixture into meatballs because it's just stuffed into the peppers. But, you get the idea.

This stuffed peppers recipe is a really fun dinner idea that everyone will love. And, if you do have leftover meatball mixture, you can roll that into balls and bake it alongside the stuffed peppers.

Cut the tops off the peppers. Clean them out and season them.


Don't skip this step. You really need to season the peppers because this is your only chance to do that. If you don't season them now, they'll be really bland, especially because you're using green peppers. So no matter what you do, don't skip this step. Don't forget the seasoning.

Mix together all your ingredients (except the peppers, obviously) until the mixture is completely combined.

Stuff each pepper with the mixture. Bake until the peppers are soft and the meatball mixture is cooked through.

Top with marinara sauce and grated Parmesan cheese. Serve warm.

Ingredients

  • 6 green peppers
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 16 oz. ground beef
  • 5 cloves garlic
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup Italian seasoned bread crumbs
  • 2 tablespoons Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 cup marinara sauce
Instructions
