Pigs In A Blanket Recipe

Pigs in a Blanket are a very popular party appetizer recipe. They appeal to almost everyone because they're mini hot dogs, wrapped in a bun. They're easy to eat (they're only one or two bites, depending on how your bites are) meaning it's easy to eat them and still mingle at the party. These ones are topped with Everything But The Bagel seasoning, because that's all the rage right now, but you could top them with other seasoning or leave them plain. It's up to you and your taste buds. Use this recipe as a guide but then get creative and make it your own.

Pigs in a Blanket are a tasty party app.

Cut the dough in half and roll the mini hog dog in it.

  • You are correct! Always a crowd pleaser! And in my bubble buddy group we have a few that have dairy issues and always good to have items that everyone can enjoy. My group are garlic lovers. Big time. A bit more work, but I caramelized onions with a copious amount of garlic. Place a small spoonful on the crescent then top with the hotdog, sausage, whatever protein one desires, then roll up. Use a baby spoon for the perfect amount - it works great for all sorts of stuff. Can't go wrong! Thanks for sharing.
